Our Signature Design

 

Our Signature Design: Our signature LOA design incorporates twenty-nine (29) biblical scriptures into the background. These specific scriptures were chosen as part of the design because they were found to be key in describing love, how we should express love to others, God’s love for us, and our love for Him from a biblical perspective. They include the following: 

Galatians 5:22-23  

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 

Proverbs 10:12 

Hatred stirs up conflict, but love covers over all wrongs. 

1 John 3:18 

Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth. 

1 Corinthians 13:4-7 

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 

1 Corinthians 13:13 

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. 

1 John 4:7-12 

Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us. 

1 John 4:16-19 

And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. This is how love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment: In this world we are like Jesus. There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. We love because he first loved us. 

Psalms 116:1 

I love the Lord, for he heard my voice, he heard my cry for mercy. 

Matthew 22:37-40

Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” 

Luke 6:27-28 

“But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. 

Luke 6: 35 

But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. 

John 15:12 

My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. 

Hebrews 10:24-25 

And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching. 

Ephesians 3:16-19 

I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. 

John 3:16 

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 

Galatians 5:14 

For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” 

Colossians 3:14 

And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. 

Romans 13:10 

Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law. 

2 Timothy 1:7 

For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline. 

Romans 12:9 

Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. 

1 Peter 4:8 

Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. 

Galatians 5:6 

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love. 

Romans 8:28 

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. 

Romans 8:39 

Neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. 

Deuteronomy 10:19 

And you are to love those who are foreigners, for you yourselves were foreigners in Egypt.

Honor your father and mother,’ and ‘love your neighbor as yourself.’ 

1 John 4:20-21 

Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen. And he has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister. 

Matthew 5:44-45 

But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. 

John 13:34-35

“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples if you love one another.”
